Some of you asked me — “Myrra, is it required for me to show my face when recording my course modules?”⠀⁣
⠀⁣
I’d say no, you have other options to get creative with — slides, interactive videos, modules in text, audio, etc.⠀⁣
⠀⁣
But before deciding on that, ask yourself: “Is this a fear-based decision?”⠀⁣
⠀⁣
Are you just deciding not to show your face because you’re shy or scared for people to judge how you look?⠀⁣
⠀⁣
If so, overcome that fear by facing it head on. Here are 3 ways you can show up more confidently on your course videos:⠀⁣
⠀⁣
1️⃣ Practice before recording. Challenge yourself to show your face on your IG stories or IG/FB live. It might feel weird at first but you’ll get used to it.⠀⁣
⠀⁣
2️⃣ Map out your course outline beforehand so you know what to say. That’s why in my upcoming course, Course Blueprint Bootcamp, I’ll teach you how to structure your course so you can save tons of time on course creation.⠀⁣
⠀⁣
3️⃣ Separate your self-worth from how your videos turn out. You might make mistakes or mispronounce words but that’s okay. You’ll do better next time.⠀⁣
